I’m a Bay Area real estate professional, proud Filipina, mom of three, and the voice behind Offers & Adobo.
I was raised by a single mom who taught me, long before I understood it, what it really takes to build a home. Not just the house itself, but the everyday sacrifices we make for family, the resilience it takes to keep going, and the love that holds everything together.
Today, John and I are raising three boys of our own. And somewhere between raising a family, carrying forward my Filipino roots, and helping people through some of the biggest transitions in their lives, I realized that home has never really been about the address.
It’s the people around the table.
The food we make again and again.
The traditions we keep.
The places we leave and still call home.
And the stories our families carry with them.
WHERE IT LED ME
Showing up has always mattered to me.
Before real estate, I worked with military families through the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society.
That experience taught me what it means to show up for people when life is changing—sometimes unexpectedly. It taught me that people don’t always need someone with all the answers. Sometimes they need someone they can trust to listen, help them understand what comes next, and stay beside them while they figure it out.
That foundation continues to shape the way I work today: with honesty, intention, and a genuine sense of responsibility for the people who trust me.
A LITTLE SOMETHING SIMMERING
And then there’s adobo.
Anyone who grew up around a Filipino kitchen knows there isn’t just one way to make it.
Every family has its version. A little more vinegar. A little less soy sauce. Maybe coconut milk. Maybe not. And someone in the family will always insist theirs is the right one.
But that’s part of what makes it ours.
Adobo takes time. The flavors settle in. It becomes richer as it sits. And somehow, it’s often even better the next day.
That felt a lot like the conversations I wanted to have.
WHY OFFERS & ADOBO
Some stories need a place to simmer.
I created Offers & Adobo because I wanted a place where home, family, culture, and real estate could all sit at the same table.
Sometimes we’ll talk about buying or selling a house.
Other times, we’ll talk about our parents, our kids, Filipino culture, family expectations, sacrifice, identity, food, and figuring out what we want to carry forward.
Because those things aren’t separate from home.
They’re what make a place feel like home in the first place.
THE OFFERS PART
Yes, I’ll talk about the house.
I’ll talk about comps, disclosures, financing, negotiations, inspections, strategy, and all the things you need to make a smart decision.
But I’m also going to ask the questions that matter when the paperwork is put away.
Does this home work for your real life?
Can you comfortably live with this payment?
Can you picture your people here?
And when it’s time to leave a home, I understand that sometimes you’re not simply selling a property. You’re closing a chapter that meant something to you.
The transaction matters. But so do the people living through it.
WHAT I CARRY FORWARD
Home changes. What it gives us doesn’t.
My Filipino roots taught me that home can stretch far beyond four walls.
It can be a kitchen full of food. Family arriving without much warning. A table that somehow has room for one more person. Traditions passed down without anyone officially deciding to pass them down.
It can be the sacrifices our parents made quietly and the ones we now make for our own children.
And as my boys grow up and begin building lives of their own, I think more and more about what we carry with us—and what we leave behind for the next generation.
That, to me, is legacy.
Not just what we own.
The houses may change.
But the stories we build inside them are what stay with us.
